Bubble Chamber Relativity

This page is dedicated to relativity problems triggered by the analysis of bubble chamber pictures.

Solve these problems in your group and

you will end up knowing more about

 High Energy Physics.

These exercises were worked out during the HST 2001 Programme at CERN by teachers Miguel Viera, Francisco Barradas Solas and Per Jerstad.
We think bubble chamber pictures are especially useful in introducing high energy physics to pupils and students. We would like to express our warmest thanks to Gron Tudor Jones for guiding us into the area " Doing HEP with bubble chamber pictures" and for his constant assistance. Thanks also to Ane Jerstad and Alison Holmes for their help.

Problem 1 - How can a spiral explain High Energy Physics to me ?

Problem 2 - Relativistic Game: Can you solve me?
