LAUSANNE

Lausanne is a medieval city, situated on Lake Geneva has plenty of character and charm with a vast selection of cafes, restaurants and boutiques.   This is a city of incredible steep hills and much of the city is still wooded.  Lausanne is home to the Olympic Museum, which opened in 1994, with displays of the Olympics of ancient Greece and banks of video screens replaying events from past summer and winter games.
