Though I have not taught physics for a number of years now, my responsibilities as the Department Chairman for Grades 6-12 in my district include curriculum development and revision.  In my 24 years of teaching I find that fewer and fewer students are taking physics.  My goal: a grade nine physics course required of all students. I am married with 2 grown sons and live in a small suburban community
about 25 miles south of Boston.
