in 1982 as a physics teacher.
I teach physics on The Secondary School for Telecommunications in
Ljubljana from 1981 on. Students are of age 15 -18.
I developed an educational game for my students on how to compose certain
mesons and hadrons of quarks just by knowing the electric charge and
numbers S, C and B.
Postgraduate studies in academic years 1991/92 and 1992/93. I became a
specialist for didactics of physics.
Presentation (Electronics in Physics Experiments) on the 8th ESP
conference in Amsterdam, 1994.
A participant on the 9th ESP conference in Cambridge, 1995.
I was a representative of Slovenia and a member of an international jury
on 8th International Young Physicists' Tournament, Spala, Poland, 1995.
Presentation (The Measurement of the Speed of Light) in the Slovenian
Workshop on the GIREP conference in Udine, Italy, 1995.
In 1995 I was among the founders of the slovene magazine for physics
teachers (Physics in the School) and the member of the first editorial
team for four years.
Coauthor with dr.Marjan Hribar of the booklet Analyses of reactions
between high energy particles (ISBN 961-6183-19-2 ). Printed in 1996.
A participant in the workshop on internet at GIREP international
conference, Ljubljana, 1996.

students each year from early eighties.

WHY SHOULD I ATTEND?
--------------
A few days ago I met Dr. Sarnow and he highly recommended this
programme. I also visited CERN a few years ago. The exhibition made a very
good impression on me. There I bought some educational materials. Being
interested in particle physics myself there is no reason not to benefit.

HOW WILL I DISSEMINATE KNOWLEDGE?
--------------
I am a leader (one out of five in the whole country) of a group of high
school physics teachers. We have working meetings three times a year. I
can prepare for them meeting with a topic in particle physics and suggest
other leaders to invite me.
We have a slovene magazine for physics teachers Physics in the school so
I plan to write an article. I can also write an article for pupils and
students in the slovene magazine for young people interested in math,
physics and astronomy Presek.

HOW DID I LEARN ABOUT HST?
--------------
Dr. Karl Sarnow from Germany told me at the ESP conference (a few
days ago).
