I teach at Gymnazium Roznov. There are two educational programmes at
my school, the 8-year programme and the 4-year one. To the 8-year programme
students have access from the age of 11 and they finish their studies
at the age of 19. The 4-year programme is for students from 15 to 19.
I teach Physics and sometimes Computer Studies. Special seminars (Physics)
are only "minor" part of my teaching duties. They are facultative
and are oriented to relations between Mathematics, Physics and Astronomy
(Astronomy is my hobby). Teaching is supported with computers.

My present interest is Astronony. I follow the advances in this
field together with the news in physics on www pages, mostly in
English. I also develop my pasive knowledge of English by reading
both professional and classic literature. I have been taking part in
preparation of competitions in physics for twelve years. I contribute
to
the magazine "Mathematics.Physics a Informatics at school".I
am a member
of the National Teachers Association in .Roznov I have cooperated in
organization of the anual conferences on Topical Problems in Education,
held in ,Roznov eight times.
WHY SHOULD I ATTEND?

I think that thanks to my professional history I am able to use any
newly acquired knowledge effectively.I also need to activate my English
and I would like to obtain some professional contacts in other countries.
HOW WILL I DISSEMINATE KNOWLEDGE?
--------------
I want to give lectures to secondary school teachers, where I could hand
over the acquired knowledge to them. I would like to write a series
of articles into the magazine "Mathematics, Physics and Informatics
at school".
HOW DID I LEARN ABOUT HST?

I learned about this programme from RNDr Grygar
last year.In this year,I learned about this programme from my son(teacher
at Charles University)and from Jitka Horackova (Houfkova), participant
the last course
