I´m a Secondary teacher of Physics and Chemistry. I love my Family, Science, Art, my Pupils and School. At CERN, one of the world's most prestigious research centres for particle physics, I hope to open a window
on the infinitely small - the heart of matter - what happens when energy becomes matter.

I teach at José Gomes Ferreira High School. Age of my students : from 15 to 18 years old.

WHY SHOULD I ATTEND?
--------------
I hope this course will help me to teach science; to show the pupils the practical importance of fundamental research; to learn the techniques used and the results obtained at CERN; to learn more about the research process; the instalation experiments before and after observation nad the selection data;the cooperation among the teams researchers.

HOW WILL I DISSEMINATE KNOWLEDGE?
--------------
I plan to promove training sessions for teachers at Association of Secondary Schools Training Center (Initial and Continuing Training); also promove networks, meetings and conferences with support of LIP and CERN'researchers; and divulge the project "School Network of Detection of Cosmic Rays".

HOW DID I LEARN ABOUT HST?
--------------
From LIP and Outreach.
