CURRICULUM VITAE:
--------------
Curriculum Vitae

My name is Tibor Nagy, I was born in 1957.I'm married, my wife is
a teacher too.We have got three children.
I graduated at Szeged University as a teacher of mathematics and
physics. After teaching in a college in my home town, Szolnok, for 5
years, I have been teaching now in a English-Hungarian bilingual high
school.Because of the special educational profile of my school I visited
many foreign schools mostly in English speaking countries. In 1991/1992
I spent a year in the USA, Connecticut as a Fulbright teacher where
I thought physics in a high school.I also had opportunities to see in
practice some European schools, and I could compare their curriculums
to that of my country's. I found that these experiences are very useful
in my work. lately I worked with a group of physics teachers for the
Educational Ministry on the new system of final examinations.

WHY SHOULD I ATTEND?
--------------
In my school there are many very good and clever students who are
interested in physics. Some have achieved excellent results in different
competitions from national level to Physics Olimpiade.
This program would be beneficial for them. Personally it would be a
great opportunity for me too, it would improve my knowledge. It would
give me a great impulse in teaching and scientific work.

HOW WILL I DISSEMINATE KNOWLEDGE?
--------------
I would share my knowledge among my colleagues and I would summarize
my experiences in a lecture in the annual National Physics Teachers
Meating.I could write some articles in different newspapers about this
project.Probably I would use this expertise as a PhD student as well.

HOW DID I LEARN ABOUT HST?
--------------
From the Hungarian Roland Eötvös Physics Society.
