My school is the only one in a 4000 people town called Ibarra and its name is Uzturpe Ikastola. Ibarra it is 25 Km far from San Sebastian in the Basque Country (Spain). In this school we teach in basque from 0 to 16 years and I teach in the last two years into the Obligatory Secondary School. Then, they have to go out to do the last two years before the university. My subjects are maths, physics, chemistry and technology.
I live in Hernani between San Sebastian and Ibarra.
I am really interested in divulgation of the physics and specially astronomy,
I use to collaborate with the San Sebastian Science Museum and I am member
of the astronomy department of the Aranzadi Science Society where we work
to bring the science near the people.
CURRICULUM VITAE:

I have a degree in Astrophysics. La Laguna University (Tenerife), 1999.
I teach in Uzturpe ikastola, in the secondary school, maths, physics,
chemistry and tecnology.
I am member of Aranzadi Science society, in the astronomy section.
I collaborate with the San Sebastian Science Museum, like teacher in
conferences and courses.
I work in a group, creating material to teach tecnology.
WHY SHOULD I ATTEND?

Because I am really interested in other methodological systems to teach
physics and other relative subjects and I think that I could know abaut
other countryes and also I could speak abaut the sistems we use in
our school.
HOW WILL I DISSEMINATE KNOWLEDGE?

I could use the things I learn in the HST program not only in my school.
I
could teach this things also in the Science society and in the Science
Museum.
HOW DID I LEARN ABOUT HST?
--------------
Last year, a friend who is the pedagogy responsible in the La Laguna
Science Museum and member of the Aranzadi Science society like me, said
me that this program will be very good for me and encouraged me to put
my name down in HTS program. Last year it was not possible because I
have had some personal problems but this year I would like to be there.
