Im am Károly Varga-Umbrich (given name Károly) from Hungary .

I teach Physics and Informatics in Secondary School. My students are at the age 13 to 19.

Education and trainings
1975-1979 Secondary School in Odorheiu-Secuiesc A-level
1980-1985 Babes-Bolyai University in Cluj-Napoca, Faculty of Physics, gradueted as pysicist researcher and teacher of physics
1991-1993 Eötvös Loránd University in Budapest, Faculty of Informatics, gradueted as teacher of informatics.

Experiences
1985-1989 Szalonta , Roumania, teaching physics in a secondary school.
1990-1992 Kisbér, Hungary, teaching physics and informatics in a secondary school.
1993- Pápa, Hungary, teaching physics and informatics in a secondary school of the Hungarian Reformed Church

Languages: Fluent Roumanien, middle level of English and French, Beginner’s German and Russian (reading professional articles and books).

I am an expert of physics in the national board of experts nominated by the Reformed Pedagogical Institute, Budapest

A popularising text about the Solitons theory in Korunk 1984. Cluj-Napoca
Programs in Pascal language for the physics lessons.
A presentation in a National Conference of physics teachers with the title of „Az Internet használata a fizika tanításában”. Using the Internet in the teaching of physics.
Publicated in „Sulinet-ablak a világra” 1998. Budapest
I made and presented a collection of website's for the physics teachers, with useful
informations, descriptions and programs.
An article in the „A fizika tanitása” methodoligical periodical, about the use of the Dibox-Dilab computer interface and program in the physical mesure in the classroom . 1997. no. 3-4.
I made the plan of national curriculum in physics for the high schools of the Hungarian Reformed Church.
I was one of the leaders of an exchange program between our Highschool and the Ichtus College in Kampen (Holland) supported by the EU.
I am a tutor in the recent project work in French language between our school, a French, a Dutch and a Roumanien school supported by the Tempus Foundation of the EU. I am the editor of the common Website, including the continouosly developing materials and presentations concerning with the different researches.
