I live in the town of Kolding in Danmark
I teach physics, math and general science in the danish high school
system and in the IB system. My students are thus 16 to 19 years old. Look
here: In Denmark we are right now implementing a reform of the high school system so much of my time is spend on understanding this reform and developing new study plans in this system.
Professionally I am interested in developing simple procedures and
funny experiments to be used by the students in their experimental training.
Here: http://www.datalyse.dk/carl/original/Spektre.pdf is an article I
wrote recently dealing with simple spectroscopy using an ordinary digital
camera and a grating. A number of spectra obtained with this technique and
with english captions can be found at: My experiences with particle physics, apart from the high school radioactivity experiments, are limited to general trouble with a cloud chamber and hosting an exhibition: "When energy becomes matter E=mc^2" from CERN at Experimentarium. In my private life I live together with Lisa and her two children Mea,17 and Eskild,13. I have a son Rasmus at age 30 and a granddaughter Isabel at 3. I moved from Copenhagen to Kolding quite recently due to love and have just begun to become acclimatized to provincial life. I do little sport but bike around. Reading and photography are my main sparetime interests. |
