My name´s Ingrid Horkava. I`m married and I have 2 children, older one Lucia is 17 and younger Tomas is 12 years old.

I finished Fakulty of Science of Pavol Jozef Safarik University in Kosice in 1988. My diploma thesis was devoted to Biophysics.

From 1988 to 1995 I worked at Institute of Experimental Physics (http://www.saske.sk/) of Slovak Academy of Sciences in Kosice (http://www.saske.sk/UEF/index.php). Since 1995 I have been teaching Physics at the secondary school – Gymnazium Alejova 1 in Kosice (www.galeje.sk). My school have about 420 pupils and 34 teachers. Main teaching programme of our school is orientate to mathematics and science. I prepare my students for entry exams to universities because I also lead Physics seminars. My students are from 12 to 18 years old.

In my spare time I lead after-school activity of LEGO. Students build models of different objects and programme a computer. We also provide education in basics of computer work for teachers (http://www.galeje.sk/sci/index.html).

I have been playing voleyball from my 13 till present days mainly in official league.
