I am José Antonio Sarmiento Hernández (long name, isn't it?). I am almost 45 years old and I am Physicist (BSc), I am happyly married and I have three kids 12-8-6 years old. I live and work in the Mexico City.

I have been teaching Mathematics and Physiscs at the National University of Mexico, high school level, for the last 19 years, also I have taught Linear ALgebra, Discrete Mathematics, Calculus, Analytical Geometry and General Physics at the Science School and Engineer School. Nowadays I am fulltime teacher C.Surprisingly for you there are more than 13 000 students in my high school and they are 15 to 18 years old.

My colleagues and I have been working for the last 5 years on some Physiscs topics like Prehispanic astronomy (or astronomy without telescope), Big-Bang evidences and the mexican contribution to ir (chemical evolution), and particularly produce "The History of the atom, in three acts", I mean sepcifically on elementary particles and Standard Model: Many people have told us that this work is impossible to understand by our students, but we have worked with them with a terrific results. So I will try to share with you our experience and learn more about it with the CERN specialists.

Regards my hobbies, I often play soccer, basketball, squash, ping-pong, billiard, chees (I am very bad), and I do not play any musical instrument (but I love Beatles songs) neither know to swim.
