My name is Alexandros Apostolou and I live in Vari, a place near Athens. I have been teaching Physics in GEITONAS SCHOOL since 1991. GEITONAS SCHOOL is one of the biggest Schools in Greece (number of students 2397). My students are aged from 15 to 18 years old. I am very interested for the research in the domain of Pedagogical issues and issues related to Science Education. I have a particular interest for the progress in the area of Physics of High Energies and for the studies and research in subjects related with the study of structure of matter. The above does not correspond only to my personal general interests but it is also related to my pedagogical goals. More particularly, I am interested in including these subjects in my teaching. I am also interested in engaging my students in relevant projects.
