I'm 25 years old. I live and study in Prague, but I come from the east part of the Czech republic - from Moravia.

Last year I finished Faculty of Mathematics and Physics of Charles Univesity in Prague. This year I started my PhD study at the Department of Physics Education in Prague.

My diploma thesis called "FyzWeb - A Source of Knowledge for both Public and Teachers" was devoted to popularisation of physics.

Last year I worked few months as a teacher of mathematics at grammar school and next year I'm going to teach thermodynamics and molecular physics at the same school (15-19 years old students).

I have been editor of web pages FyzWeb (http://fyzweb.cuni.cz) about physics for teachers, students and anybody who is interested in physics since summer 2001 (only in Czech).

I'm co-autor of textbook for Elementary school "Using Internet in Classroom - Physics". I'd like to discuss Internet as a tool in classroom with teachers from other countries.

I participate on evaluation of international test PISA and TIMSS in the Czech Republic. If someone takes part in the same research, it would be interesting to share our experience.

I like travelling, singing, eating and sleeping:-) And I'm looking forward to meet nice and interesting people in CERN this summer.
