I'm a high school teacher in math and physics. I teach at Munkensdam Amtsgymnasium in Kolding.

I got my masters degree in physics in 2003 at the University of Aarhus. My thesis was titled "Lifetime measurement of the 3d2D5/2 state in 40Ca+ by the electron shelving technique using a single mode diode laser system ". In short we trapped and cooled Ca-40 ions in a linear Paul trap and studied fluorescence signals with a CCD-camera (long story cut very short).

As you can probably guess from the previous section, I've only been teaching for three years - it's been a great experience thus far. This past year's been particularly challenging as a reform of the Danish youth education system has been implemented. Next year'll hopefully be less challenging, even though we have a new grade-scale to implement.

As for my personal life, I live in Aarhus with my boyfriend who is a currently a post. doc. in Aalborg doing bionano-research. More information about me can be found here www.geocities.com/inger_s_jensen/hobbies.htm
