My name is Stacy McCormack. I have taught high school chemistry and
physics at Elkhart Central High School in Elkhart, Indiana for seven
years. I have recently begun teaching physics, astronomy and physical
science courses at our local community college as well. I received my
bachelors degree in chemistry education from Indiana University in 1999,
and my masters degree in physics education in 2004. I am currently
looking at PhD programs in science education.

I have been involved with the Quarknet program at the University of
Notre Dame for two summers now. Last year I worked on the CMS e-Lab,
and this summer I am working with a group of teachers and students on
various astronomy projects. We are set to analyze data from the Spitzer
Space Telescope, and the hope is to eventually make this into an e-Lab
as well.

My hobbies include travel, reading, working on house projects and
spending time with family and friends.
