My name is Jean-François HUET. I am 37. I teach physics and chemistry at Clemenceau High School in Nantes (western part of France). My students are from 15 to 18 years old. You can have a look at my high school website: http://www.lycee-clemenceau-nantes.fr

I applied to the HST programme to update my knowledge in particle physics and to share experience with the other participants. Also, I hope the programme will help me to build up a project with some of my students. For two years I have been leading the scientific workshop of my high school. After working last year on “Archaeology, feeding and health” (cf. http://www.monprofdephys.org/) I plan to work next school year on the medical applications of modern physics in partnership with research officers in charge of the accelerator ARRONAX which is building in Nantes.

Otherwise, I like playing badminton, mountain hiking or just walking the Brittany seaside paths. I am also deeply interested in history, cultural travels and oenology.
