My name is Verena Keller and I teach physics, maths and computer science.

Since 2001 I work at a public secondary school (high school) in Miesbach, Bavaria (Germany). In autumn we will have the 125 years celebration of the world's first power transmission at high voltage from Miesbach to Munich (take a look at our homepage www.gymb.de).

My pupils are between 10 and 19 years old and they start with physics at the age of 12. If they choose physics in their last two years at school, they will learn a lot about modern physics and I can pass my knowledge acquired at CERN on them.

I like testing new methods of teaching and developing materials for my lessons. I'm also very interested in the history of maths and physics and the biography of the scientists involved.

In my spare time I like cycling, walking in the mountains and reading.
