I am a High school teacher from Scotland. My school is called Bo'ness Academy which is twenty minutes outside Edinburgh by car.

I teach pupils from the ages of 12 -18 years old in the subject of Physics and Science.

My reasons for attending the HST programme are that i have a keen interest in Modern Physics, especially Cosmology and Particle Physics. It has been a dream of mines to see a Particle Accelerator and there is no better time than when they are looking for the Higgs Boson. I am also enthusiastic about exchanging educational techniques with teachers from other countries.

 My interests include fencing, walking and reading. I am also mad about console games and hope that one day, my school will give me funds to buy a PS3 for my Console Club!
