I teach physics and mathematics at Saint Margaret Secondary School, it is located in the heart of Budapest. My students are between 15 and 18 years old. Most of our students are of the Catholic faith. The curriculum follows the guidelines of the Hungarian Ministry of Education.
It was 5 years ago that I founded a
scientific students’ association (Induction Student’s Club a.k.a. ITDK:
http://ITDK.uw.hu) It is a popular and
sussesful sciences club. The goal of the club is to introduce students to
the word of research by familiarising them with research metods, helping
them with experiments and inviting renowned scientists to give lectures.
I am a foundation member of Hugarian Research
Teachers’ Association (www.kuttanar.hu). It was a good opportunity me to develop and widen my knowledge about particle physics. It was great to meet and work together 38 teachers, from 29 different (other) countries.
