For
the past 7 years I have taught IB Physics and AP Physics at Watkins
Mill HS in Montgomery County Maryland.
Before this I taught for 3 years at the Riverside School in Zug,
Switzerland followed by one year at the American International School of
Cochabamba, Bolivia. Next year I
will be changing schools to Damascus High, also in Montgomery County.
I will be teaching mostly first year Physics to 9th graders and one
section of AP Physics B.
I first learned
about the HST after joining the QUARKNET program at University of Maryland
College Park. I have been able
to participate in other wonderful programs including visits to Brookhaven,
Fermi Lab, and Berkeley. I
highly recommend both the HST and QUARKNET to US Physics teachers.
My hobbies consist primarily of taking care of three young children. I like to work in the garden and service my Kawasaki Ninja motorcycle.
