Hi! I'm John and I work at Christ's Hospital, an independent boarding school in beautiful West Sussex, England. The school was founded in 1552 by King Edward VI and is now the largest eductaional charity in the UK, providing free or heavily subsidised boarding education for children from all backgrounds. I teach physics GCSE (age 16) and A level (age 18) and I am also the Head of Junior Science for ages 11 to 14. I live at the school in a boarding house, Lamb A, where I am also the assistant house-master.

I studied physics at Imperial College in London but then spent a few years in the real world as a Chartered Accountant before returning to the classroom. In any free time, my hobbies include drumming in a rock band, driving with the top down, travelling in Africa and Asia, and drinking.

Cheers!
