My name is Frederic Ganessane. I graduated in 2008 from Linköpings University, Sweden.  I teach physics, mathematics and mechanical construction to students from 16 to 19 years old.  Most of my students are from the Natural science program and others are from the technical program.  I have worked in Nyköpings upper secondary school ("gymnasium") for one year and now I have a position in Berzelius upper secondary gymnasium in Linköping.

I was born and raised at Pondicherry (former French colony) in southern India.  At 19 years old I moved to France and made the two-year military service in the French Navy (Toulon Naval).  Furthermore, I have had jobs in different sectors, primarily in the production industry.  I have worked as a fisherman in India and mechanic of garden machinery in France.

I came to Sweden in 1993 and have worked as a process operator in the food process industry (Arla), engineering mechanic and as a youth social leader in the government social services.

I have a wife named Marie who is a teacher in a secondary high school in Finspång, Sweden and two children Alma and Maja (10 and 11 years old).

I am looking forward to the three weeks at CERN and meeting the HST-2009 group.
