My name is Hubert Koehl and I am a teacher for physics, programming languages and computer networks. Since 1987 I'm teaching at a public secondary and vocational school in Völklingen, Germany. My students are 16 to 20 years old and and I hope that I can motivate them for university studies in physics. I'm also teaching in further education for teachers, in next autumn with the issue "Particle Physics at CERN". Some weeks ago, I built a cheap cloud chamber with some students, which is proposed by the CERN education department and … it works! (we spent only 50 Euros) I am also very interested in philosophy, especially where it touches physics. In my spare time I like swimming, cycling, and hearing classical and jazz music.
