Hello my name is Pablo Torres. I am currently teaching technology, robotics and decentralized systems, and videogame programming at Colegio San Ignacio El Bosque en Santiago, Chile.  I’m graduated in physics from Universidad Católica de Chile and education from Universidad Alberto Hurtado and am now working on my Master in Education thesis from Universidad Católica de Chile. I have experience in use of the internet technologies in the school and am currently the project leader for HP Innovations in Education – 2009 Grant: "Development of a methodological platform for problem-based learning mediated by information technologies".

I have multiple interests in education including: development of empathy and happiness in school, use of the multi-methodology of the problem-based learning supported by Internet technologies, entrepreneurship and innovation for high school students, complex systems science as a new paradigm in education, development of cognitive science and neuroscience applications in education, the integration of science, technology and society in science education and education policies for social, scientific and technologic development.

Apart from teaching, I enjoy trekking, cyclotourism, gardening and hearing music like jazz, indie, post-rock and gothic metal.
