Bubble Chamber Relativity

So, one more particle is needed to describe the process in a way that obeys the laws of momentum and    energy conservation. Let us rewrite our equation:

 K- + p à p + p- + X

What do we know about the X particle?

1.  Does X have charge?

2.  What’s the energy of the particle?

3.  What’s the momentum of the particle?

4. What’s the mass of the particle?

Check your results with the teachers' calculations.
